WordVault reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Use of the Service

WordVault provides free word-finding tools for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to:

  • Use the Site only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its servers
  • Not scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Site at scale without prior written permission
  • Not reproduce, duplicate, or sell any portion of the Site's content without permission

3. Word Lists and Accuracy

WordVault's word lists are compiled from publicly available Scrabble dictionaries (TWL06, SOWPODS) and common English word databases. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty that our word lists are complete, error-free, or current.

Word validity rules change between game versions and official tournament word lists. Always verify critical Scrabble or tournament plays against the official word list for your game edition.

4. Intellectual Property

The WordVault name, logo, design, and original content are the intellectual property of WordVault and may not be reproduced without permission.

Words themselves are not subject to copyright. However, our curated word lists, scoring data, definitions, and site design are proprietary and protected.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

WordVault is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Site.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only. WordVault is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of linked third-party sites.
